Art & Flowers by
Alesa De Jager
Hello. My name is Alesa De Jager. I am an artist, floral designer, gardener, mom, etc. My work changes with the seasons. When its green outside I design flowers for weddings and events; in the winter I hibernate in my studio and draw. Throughout the year I work to connect art and flowers and daily life with the garden, the quickly changing seasons, and the simple beauty in each day.
Adding the textures and blooms of the current season to your event is a simple way to add natural beauty and color. One of my goals is to help clients choose flowers that are in season and locally grown whenever possible. I grow some blooms and novelty foliages (see my obsession with dahlias on Instagram). I love to work with the local farmers in our region, too. And should you be dying to have peonies in August, or any other specialty flower, I can probably find it for you.
If you are interested in my floral design services for your wedding or event please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 608.304.6400. Let me know the date and bit about what you are planning. If you are still in the early stages of planning your event and need some creative ideas, please follow me on Pinterest + Facebook.
My love for plants, trees, moss, mud, insects and birds can be seen in my art works as well. It is hard not be influenced by such things when you live amongst the pines and oaks along the banks of the Black River.
To see more of my drawings, prints, and paintings please follow me on Facebook to learn about local exhibits, gallery events, and my seasonal etsy shop.
